For all delegates, registration includes:

For accompanying persons, registration includes:

  • Welcome cocktail on 21 June 2027
  • Symposium lunches on 22, 23 and 24 June

Registration fees are in Euro and include 10% French VAT.

All payments must be made in Euro by credit card or bank transfer.

Please note that ALL transfer costs must be prepaid by the transmitter.

Cheques will not be accepted.

Important:

  • Only fully completed online registrations will be accepted.
  • Online registration will open at the end of November 2026
  • If any deadline is missed, the next applicable fee will be charged automatically.
  • Registration will be confirmed only upon receipt of payment in full.
  • If the maximum attendee capacity is reached, the organiser reserves the right to refuse any registration.
  • Only registered attendees will be permitted access to the Symposium.
  • To be eligible to register for the Symposium, attendees must be at least 18 years old. Attendees may be asked to present an official identity document showing their date of birth.

Students

To register as a student please upload a student’s card or a certificate from your University.

WPSA member rate

You must have an active membership for 2027. Your WPSA membership number will be required during the online registration process. Please note that there is a processing time of up to 10 business days between signing up as a WPSA member and being recognised in our registration portal. Keep this in mind when registering close to the rate deadlines (to benefit from the member rate by 31 March, your membership should be renewed by 16 March at the latest.).

Media registration

To register as a media representative, please use the online registration form. There is no registration fee for accredited media representatives. However, to register as a media representative, you must submit a copy of your official press card and will be subject to acceptance by the organisers.

Accompanying Person

It is possible to register an accompanying person for the Symposium.

Please note: the Social Dinner is not included and must be booked separately.

Group discussions participation:

Participants are invited to register for the discussion groups scheduled for Tuesday 22 June and Wednesday 23 June, from 14:30 to 15:30.

Registration for these discussion groups is included in the general registration fee.

The discussions will cover five thematic areas. If you wish to participate, please indicate your preferred topics in order of priority. Please also note that registering for the discussion groups implies a commitment to attend both sessions, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Organising Committee reserves the right to allocate participants to groups based on overall demand and logistical considerations.

Seats are limited; please register by 14 May at the latest.

Social Dinner

Join us for an unforgettable evening at our Social Dinner on Wednesday 23 June 2027, at the majestic Palais de la Bourse in Bordeaux. An iconic venue in the heart of the city, the Palais de la Bourse offers an exceptional setting that combines historic prestige with modernity.

Please note that space is limited and ticket reservations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wine, Cheese and Science Event

Date: Tuesday 22 June 2027
Venue: To be announced – Bordeaux city centre
Time: 20:00–21:30

The Wine, Cheese and Science event is a separate in‑person event taking place on Tuesday 22 June 2027 in Bordeaux city centre.

Participants may register for this event subject to payment of the applicable fee, provided that they are duly registered and have paid all applicable registration fees in advance. Should the minimum number of participants not be reached, the organiser reserves the right to cancel the Wine, Cheese and Science event.

Please note that space is limited and ticket reservations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Letter of invitation

Individuals requiring an official Letter of Invitation can request one during the online registration process or, at a later stage, by writing to the Organiser (registration-espn2027@kit group.org). To receive a Letter of Invitation, attendees must first register for the Symposium and submit payment in full.

The Letter of Invitation does not financially obligate the Symposium organiser or any of their related partners in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the Symposium are the sole responsibility of the attendee.

Visa Requirements

It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of his/her applicable visa requirements.

Any participant requiring an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application process. Participants should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications.

It is recommended to apply for a visa at least 5 months in advance of the Symposium.

When the registration has already been paid, 75% of the registration fee minus a handling fee of 50 EUR will be refunded after the Symposium if the visa was applied for in time, and proof of this, together with an official notice from the embassy confirming that a visa could not be granted, is forwarded to the Organiser at [email protected] by 21 May 2027.
